Because even though I've been busy with a lot of other things, we have other members who have been posting some very good stuff on that website, libertyandprosperity.com. And our newest feature, by the way, are excerpts of interviews that I give every Tuesday with you and which, Brian Fitzherbert, who's now the president of Liberty and Prosperity, gives every Friday with, Anne Baker. So now you get the best of the, of those interviews is posted on libertyandprosperity.com. And here's the the key thing. We're only reaching about 5 to 10000 people through our website, through our emails, but anyone listening could instantly turn into us reaching 50 to a 100000 people. If you just take the time to go to our website, look at, any of the new articles that we have, the new post, and you'll see at the top and bottom of every post, there's a Facebook icon, a little blue f, and, I think it still says Twitter, the little blue Twitter bird. We haven't, changed it to x yet. But all you have to do is click that and share our post with your personal friends on Twitter or Facebook. And if we had just about 30 or 40 more people doing that, that would expand the, the reach of our audience, to about 50 to a 100000. So I know I say the same thing every week, but it would make such a big difference if you just take the time to do that. Repetition is very important, Seth, particularly in this day and age where we're all fragmented, with all the different things. Day and age where we're all fragmented, with all the different things going on. Real quick, Liberty and Prosperity, do they, dis disseminate information on x? Is that a is that a Yes. We we Are you guys active? We absolutely are. We have a it it's, l n p. It's, you know, that symbol at atlnp1776. That's our Twitter handle. And it's the a n d. L a n d. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Oh, yes. L a n d p, 1776. So if you go there on Twitter but if you even hit liberty and prosperity, you'll you'll see you'll see us there. Gotcha. So so it just a little bit of participation because I don't know how all those algorithms work. But when they see a lot of bit different people going to these sites and sharing the stuff, it enhances not just the people who reach our stuff, but it it puts us on a different plateau that we, we have here. It rises you in the profile. Yeah. No doubt about it. But we change with everything. And we have about 5 or 6 people doing it, but, we need to have 30 or 40 people doing it on a regular basis. So I I urge you to do that. So we have libertyandprosperity.com on the website. We have landp1776 on x or Twitter. We have our liberty and prosperity, page on Facebook. And, unfortunately, you have to go to our page because, we've been restricted ever since we dared to say, I guess, 5 or 6 years ago, that the wildfires in Canada and Australia were caused by arsonists instead of by climate change. And they were caused by arsonists. They were caused by arsonists and not by climate change. And and, they said we were giving misinformation, and we were, you know, what they called throttled. And even though I found surveys that showed that that Australia has had these wildfires for, like, 10000 years, but, but that didn't matter. That was not politically correct. But we could undo that, if instead of waiting for a liberty and prosperity post to show up in your Facebook feed, if you go to the liberty and prosperity page and share it, That will change the algorithm, and that will get us, to get more people to see us. It does change. I I was going just gonna say it. I was gonna say it overpowers the algorithm and redirects it, but the same thing. It does. Yeah. The algorithm picks up the activity Because because of the increased activity. Right. And even though we're throttled, you are not throttled, and your friends are not throttled. So they share it. We it's it's like we can't get in the front door, so we go into the side window if you help us out. Alright. So but but that's one thing I wanna bring up. And the other thing that liberty and prosperity, does is we you know, everybody focuses on the president, the celebrity, the issue of the day. And we often focus on things that affect you a whole lot more. But you won't find it in the paper, and you won't find it, in the national news. But you've got to pay attention. And one of the the two things that are going on right now as we speak, there's a special election going on in Dennis Township right now and in Middle Township right now. And, if you had never heard of the election, well, that's that's why they're having it today. I love Dennis Township, by the way. What a beautiful It it it really is. But the these these school boards And middle too. But, you know And and I love Middle Township also. But but here's what's been going on in our our our public schools for for a long time. This started with with Democratic governor Jim McGreevey about 22 years ago. He had something called the project labor agreements, which he put into law. And what that basically means is that whenever a school or a city or a county or township they do any kind of work, it must be effectively done by union contractors. Doesn't say you have to do have a union contractor. It says you have to follow union rules, but the only people who could go through all the red tape to get qualified, to follow all the union rules are, these union contractors. And they add about, I'm guessing about 3 times to 4 times the cost. So if you would have, say, a a $10,000 paint job, it suddenly becomes a 50 or, you know, 40, 50, or $60,000 paint job for a whole lot of reasons. And it's not just the pay. It's it's like if you do a job, if you're painting something, and, and you and there's an electrical box in the way and you have to move the electrical box You gotta call the electrical. You gotta call the electrical union, and they gotta do it. And it could be a 15 minute job. In other words, you can't plot your own course. Yeah. You gotta follow their course on how to do this. And then you need so many foremen, and, you know, it it it it just is crazy. So what has happened is the cost of doing routine maintenance and routine repairs has gotten so expensive that what these schools are doing and what these cities are doing is they're just letting everything fall completely apart. And then they have to rebuild and replace everything, and they have to borrow money to do it. K. Or they have to borrow money, to to make, you know, routine repairs. And and it and and now when you borrow money, you have a bond issue. You gotta get Wall Street involved. You have to have, all these, experts and brokerage firms and bond counts, which is worked out for Atlantic City too. But, you know Yeah. So so it it it puts you enormously in debt. So these elections are are alright. So here's what's going on. So, so what the what the school district started to do, you can't borrow money in a school district unless you're approved by the voters. So all these school districts started to put these, you know, referendum on the on the ballot. And, of course, whenever you borrow money, another word for borrowing money is a a future tax increase. And and not only are you paying for the work to be done in a super expensive way, but you have all these, what they call, transaction cost added on top. And people started getting wise, and they started voting down these measures. And if the people vote down the measures, then they can't do it. And they have to find another way to do it. So in Middle Township, I believe, the the voters voted this thing down either a year ago or 2 years ago, so they're bringing it back. But instead of bringing it up in a November election, which is, by the way, free, you know, because the whole state is having an election Right. You you if you vote on a school election that's in November, doesn't cost the school district any money. Okay. If you set up a special election, now the school district has to pay on top of all the bond issue. They have to pay for the cost of elections. People gonna have to pay for that. So why are they doing an election on September 17th when nobody knows about it? Real quick. Who's they? Can you define the they? Yeah. The school board. Alright. The school board. So the school board wants the election. And what happens when you have a special election? Well, nobody knows about it except the school district uses their emergency contact system of everybody's cell phone to notify all the parents that there's an election, all the teachers that there's an election, all the contractors there's an election. So all the insiders know that there's an election where if you vote yes, they could borrow $3,200,000. But the taxpayers aren't gonna have any idea about this election or how much it's gonna cost them until next year when they get the tax hike. So it's so important. Isn't the school board under an obligation to advertise that the election is in fact taking place, send the mailers to the people? No mail. No mailer? No. Have you looked in the no newspaper. So I need There's no newspaper. So I guess if you look in the online edition of some paper But the people have to take the action. The people have to But meanwhile, if you're, if you're a parent of a student, you'll get a text. Don't forget to vote to to make sure there's enough money to keep your school safe. The the deck is stacked. Teacher, the teacher's unit. So all the people getting the money know there's an election. The people who could be paying the money won't have a clue to the tax bill. And that's going on in Middle Township right now and Dennis Township. The polls are open, I guess, till 8 o'clock tonight. So if you live there and you're hearing this message, go over there. They're they're not, like, giant I don't know about Middle Township. Dennis has a lot of area, but population wise, not exactly a huge community. Correct? But it's a good sized town. I'd say maybe 8 to 10000. I'm just guessing. You have any oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, how about that? Jeff Van Drew, started his career in in Dennis Township. Then Middle Township is, of course, a huge it's a real metropolis even though it's spread out. You know, they they have a lot of people on the line. Bay Courthouse area? Courthouse. Yeah. Okay. And Swaton, you know, and and Whitesboro, all those those, townships are there. Okay. So, anyway, I just wanna say that pay attention to the schools, and, hopefully, people vote them down. But but what you really have to do is when they're and how much time do we have before we we We'll get ready to hit a break right now, Seth. And then we'll come back to the shop. Let's break, and we'll we'll we'll talk. Seth Grossman in the house. Liberty and on the table as usual on Tuesday here right after the bottom of the 2:30 break on the client time radio show. Thanks for joining and letting us be a part of your South Jersey afternoon here. On this Tuesday, September 17th, blink your eyes, folks. The days are flying by. Unbelievable. We got a break right now. We'll come back on the other side. We'll continue with Seth. And at some point, if you got a question or a comment, we'll see if, Seth wants to open up the phone lines and let folks get in at 3 w o n d. Talking with Seth Grossman, executive director for Liberty and Prosperity. We talk with Seth every Tuesday at this time, right after 2:30, bottom of the hour break, And, we usually go to about 3:30, 3:15, 3:30, whatever amount of time Seth needs. And, so, Seth, we were talking about Middle Township kinda trying to slide 1 on a a special election by the people, it seems. It seems as if And they all do that because if you actually read the school board manual, they'll tell you. They'll say, oh, by the way, if you wanna get your voters to go for a bond issue to borrow more money, here's the way you do it. You set up a special election, and you notify all your people by your text, your emergency system, supposedly to keep the students safe, but they use these emergency system to get out the votes for these special votes, and this is how you do it. You tell them it's only gonna cost the average homeowner a $110 a year, and and it's a bargain. It's not really gonna hurt you. But what what happens is year after year, the people who are working to pay the taxes, their income is not going up to keep pace with the tax increases. So what it means is every year, the people who work for the government, whether you work for the city government, county government, state government, whether you're a contractor, whether you get get any of these benefits, your life doesn't change. But the life of the people paying for your lifestyle is getting less and less. They have to work harder to keep their homes, or they have to give up vacations. They have to give up cars. They have to give up other things they can't afford because they have to pay their taxes. And it gets ludicrous at times when they say, oh, we're gonna have Habitat for Humanity. We're gonna give poor people houses for free. And the poor people can't afford to pay the taxes on the houses. So, this is a major issue, but yet people are not dealing with the problem. The fact that the the problem is that the money is being spent, you you know, that's not there. That that when we when we want something and we don't have the money, we cut back. The schools, the the governments, they don't cut back. They say, this is what we need, and we're just gonna raise it. Force it upon the people. And they force it on the people, and the people get so easily distracted by these these baloney programs. Well, you're a senior citizen. We're gonna give you a senior freeze, or we're gonna give you this anchor program. We're gonna give you more money. And, yeah, you get more money from it. But, businesses don't, they they they don't get the tax breaks. And you have to buy from businesses, so they just raise the prices. So you just, they're playing the shell game. That's right. And yet people fall for it every time. Oh, I'm I'm voting for this guy because he got me a senior freeze, and he got me an anchor rebate, and I got this and I got that. But year after year, the the government is spending more money. We have less money, and the the the, middle class is getting ground down to the to the dust. And, and and it It used to be it used to be one person who was in the in the wagon, and, you know, you had a whole bunch of people pulling the wagon. Now you got a whole bunch of people in the wagon and only a few people outside pulling. At some point, Seth, that's unsustainable. Right? It it it is. And, of course, people have just given up. They've given up saying, well, let's make the wagon a little bit lighter for everybody. But, people say, why work better for everybody. But I don't care. Just give me a seat in the wagon and let someone else call it. Because I got mine. You know? In other you could you could have a noisy party next door, but if you invite me, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna put gonna complain about it and call the cops. So that that's that mentality you got there. But, and I don't know the solution because you have the Democrats increase the spending, but the republicans have basically gotten hijacked by the same public employee unions. The democrats have the teachers union. The republicans basically have been, bought out by, I I forgot which union is, I guess, the electrical workers or one one of the, you know, a couple of the big, unions. And so it doesn't matter. Nobody is stopping this, and it's going on. Now do you no. Go ahead. It's going on. And It's not gonna stop until the whole thing collapses. Well, do you think that Ciattarelli will address it if he's elected? No. He won't do it. I mean, he'll he'll try to do it, but not if if the 2 thirds of all the Republican candidates are getting backed by the same unions who are benefiting from this. And and you go into these Republican towns, you know, Cape May County is is all Republican. But, yet the school districts, nobody wants to get the teachers union mad. The fact is that most people go into politics for all the wrong reasons. They they wanna get a job for themselves, a job for their family, a contractor, this or that. And that's fine if after you get what you need for yourself, you're pushing, you know, the the the basic principles that that give everybody a fair chance, but it's not happening. Wow. So unless that changes, this country is is, slowly going down, and you could see it. People when when you talk about the drug problem, the fentanyl problem, the suicides, the murders, the crime, all this stuff. And and so what what's the solution? Oh, we have to spend more money on on more nurses and doctors and experts and and psychologists. No. People have given up hope. And when people give up hope, what do they do? They turn to drugs. They turn to crimes. They let themselves go. And that's the crisis that America is is is having. We we're we've lost our freedom. And when you lose your freedom, it's almost like you remember in the, that those miners in Pennsylvania? They'd, they'd be, trapped underground, and then you get a stomachache, a headache, and this and that. And and you don't didn't give him aspirin for the headache. They needed oxygen. As soon as they got the oxygen, everything else got better. But freedom is the oxygen that keeps us going. There's no doubt about it. We got Jonathan going to slide it in before the top of the hour. But, boy, Seth, you're you're operating on all cylinders, today. You got everything going, boy. You're so you're so right on so many different levels. Let's get Jonathan on. And, Jonathan, welcome to the program. We got 2 minutes for the top of the hour. Hello? We lost Jonathan. Jonathan, are you there? Hey. Yes. Good afternoon. Yes. I'm not sure if this is the freedom zone or or a a zone somewhere like in 1776 because back then, we used to talk about all these things, but at least we had the king to blame. And, unfortunately, now we have ourselves. So now what? Yeah. We we we have met the enemy, and he is us. Yes. You got it. Hey. I just wanted to make one suggestion to Seth in Liberty and Prosperity. Maybe try a YouTube angle somehow. Somehow, someway, you know, because talk about Mike and Cher. That stuff will Well, we're we're we're on by the way, there's a Liberty and Prosperity YouTube channel, and and you get to it. It's raised on our website. We it's right there. You could you could click it. You could share it, and there's a lot of good stuff on it. That. Okay. So we got we got it all. All all we need are about 30 or 40 people willing to share it. Yes. Yeah. Well, get get something on there where, you know, I don't know. Somebody, suspected of eating a cat or something. I don't know. Anyway Alright. Yeah. Yeah. Boy, we do get distracted. Thanks for getting in. What we need, we need a freedom dog, Seth. You know? You'd be funny to get a dog with it. But Yeah. Alright. Listen. We gotta break. We'll come back on the other side. Mister Grossman has some other things on his menu. At the top of the list, I think I saw high electric bills. I think I might have seen something like that. We'll, we'll discuss it on the other side. I hope you stay tuned as client time continues.
